All AABC member agencies must have at least one certified Test and Balance Engineer (TBE) on staff. The TBE is ultimately responsible for overseeing technical operations of the company; reviewing and certifying test and balance reports; and providing supervision and training of technicians.

The Energy Management Association (EMA), Associated Air Balance Council (AABC) and AABC Commissioning Group (ACG) will exhibit together at the 2027 AHR Expo, taking place January 25–27 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
