Many systems meet TAB requirements yet fail to perform as intended. This panel explores the gap between compliance and performance, focusing on how late-stage TAB often reveals issues tied to coordination gaps, controls integration, installation quality, and inherent design or testing limitations. Through the perspectives of TAB professionals and general contractors, the discussion will examine how a more proactive GC–TAB partnership—built on early engagement, system readiness, and defined validation checkpoints—can reduce rework and improve closeout outcomes.
